Karl Kment's recording of "Potpourri for Accordion" was a result of a conversation with his good friend Eddie Chavez. He thought it was important that Karl's grandchildren and there grandchildren have a re- membrance of his playing the accordion, so, at the age of 73, he proceeded to make his first recording.

Sam Pecorillo and his Country Polka Gems are the house band at Alpine Acres, a dance hall on Sam’s farm at Alpine Oregon. It was always Sam’s desire to build a dance hall similar to those back East. In 1991 that desire became a reality when he built the hall.

The Greg Meier Alpine Quartet consists of Greg and a couple of friends he met while playing at the Rheinlander in Portland, Oregon.  This group maybe small in number, but the sound they produce makes them sound a lot bigger than they are!
